Our Journey
At BioMush, we’re on a mission to make a positive impact on the environment and the food industry. We’ve started our journey by operating a small-scale test factory with a monthly capacity of handling two tons of food industry side streams. This innovative process allows us to yield an impressive 4 tons of liquid umami, which can be used as a flavoring ingredient.

Exciting Developments
Our commitment to innovation is unwavering. By the end of 2025, we will have completed the development of our state-of-the-art bioreactor and, in doing so, we will double our production capacity.

Versatile Applications
BioMush’s solid state fermentation technology has incredible potential. It’s not just about umami; we’re pioneering solutions that extend beyond the food industry. Our technology can be applied to alternative proteins, biocomposite materials, and the pre-treatment of biomass for various valorization processes.
